Online Music Stores

This page lists stores with online access. Many of these stores advertise in Goldmine. Some stores have a typical selection, others specialize in vinyl, and some even sell live import cds (aka bootlegs). Note that domestic refers to US releases and import refers to non-US releases.

Recommendations
I have not dealt with most of these online music stores, so I cannot provide comments or recommendations. However, I have started a comment book where people can describe any experiences they have had with any of the stores listed here. Your mileage may vary. Proceed at your own risk. Good luck!
Spam!
Some stores are known to send out unsolicited bulk email, also known as spam. I have absolutely no tolerance for spam, so I am not listing their web site addresses. I also encourage you to avoid shopping at those sites. Of course, this is only my personal feeling on the matter - you are obviously free to do as you choose. If you know of a store who spams, please let me know. Thank you. (P.S. I do not object to stores who post to music newsgroups, as it is reasonable to assume that the store may sell items directly related to the newsgroups.)
New Stores
I would like to thank everyone for sending me info on stores to add to this list. And I would like to apologize for not updating this page as frequently as I should. I promise that I have saved every email regarding online music stores and at some point I will add all of those stores to this list. Feel free to email more than once! I really need a way to get stores automatically added to this list (via CGI/forms)...
